Thanks to our attendees; we look forward to seeing even more people next year
More than 2,000 community bank clients and experts came together April 8-11 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., to make FIS InfoShare 2014 an incredible success. With a focus on how to move the financial services market forward, InfoShare received rave reviews as it showcased the latest FIS products and services, and presented an opportunity to learn about top industry trends.
Attendees discovered new banking and payments innovations that can help them better connect with customers through 100 FIS solution kiosks and nearly 180 Breakout Sessions, which included interactive opportunities to discuss the many advances on display.
In addition, panel discussions, interactive games and speakers – including FIS’ Chief Innovation Officer, Fred Brothers, who facilitated a discussion about the future of banking and helped unveil GenNOW, a new FIS solution that combines mobile and prepaid to target young and mobile consumers – giving attendees insight into the many ways FIS will continue to help them find and serve new customers.
Chairman and CEO Frank Martire, President and COO Gary Norcross, and EVP of North American Financial Services Anthony Jabbour also described FIS’ strategy and fielded direct questions about how FIS will maintain its support for clients now and in the future.
Keynote speeches from Dennis Snow, a former Disney executive, and J.R. Martinez – Army veteran, author, actor and “Dancing with the Stars” champion – then showcased how perspective can help businesses overcome shortcomings. For instance, by always considering how a customer sees something, a financial institution will be more likely to provide a solution the customer wants, when they want it.
Finally, what conference would be successful without a little fun? Playing an interactive “Game of Life” that took through them through the financial stages of an individual’s life, showing how FIS’ innovative solutions can help, gave attendees the chance to win trips and other prizes.
Feedback for InfoShare 2014 has been overwhelmingly positive. If you were there, we thank you; if you weren’t there, we encourage you to come next year. And we look forward to sharing more about our next client event, FIS Client Conference 2014, in just a few weeks.
